Rose McGowan
From a stripper with an automatic weapon for a leg to a high-schooler who commits murder by jawbreaker, Rose McGowan has made a career of risky roles, igniting cinema screens with her sex appeal, sharp wit and winning charm. Her early roles favored Pauly Shore–starring comedies (Encino Man and Bio-Dome) and the dark indie fare of director Gregg Araki (The Doom Generation and Nowhere). Recently, she scorched the screen in both Quentin Tarantino’s and Robert Rodriguez’s contributions to Grindhouse. Her upcoming films include Fifty Dead Men Walking, based on the life of British spy Martin McGartland.
Jason Lee
From skateboard champ to white trash scamp, Jason Lee’s steady rise to film fame begins with mind-blowing tricks in Spike Jonze’s skate short Video Days. His second lead acting role in Kevin Smith’s Chasing Amy garnered Lee an Independent Spirit Award, establishing his understated comedic style. He would ultimately work on four Kevin Smith films. Always in good company, he rose further in supporting work alongside the likes of Daniel Day Lewis (The Ballad of Jack and Rose), Tom Cruise (Vanilla Sky) and Will Smith (Enemy of the State), while taking leading parts in Almost Famous, Alvin and the Chipmunks and Pixar's Academy Award-winning computer-animated smash The Incredibles. Currently heading up NBC's beloved sitcom, My Name Is Earl, Lee’s portrayal of Earl Hickey is so spot on we wonder if he will show up in plaid flannel.
